Story
David Bradley, the American pilot of the British Air Force (action takes place before the direct entry of the United States into World War II ) was shot down in North Africa . Recovering from a leg injury in the “ mandated ” Jerusalem , he meets Sarah, a Jew of Spanish descent. Young people are attracted to each other, and David falls in love with her, but she is convinced that they cannot be together - she belongs to a Sephardic family with strict traditions, whereas he is not only a Christian, but also a son of a Protestant priest. Gradually, the girl also falls in love with him, but her family is opposed to their union. This story is about forbidden love, cultural / religious differences, as well as the sacrifices that lovers can make to each other.
