Miss granny

“Miss Granny” ( cor. 수상한 그녀 ) is a South Korean tragicomedy directed by Don Hyuk Kwan, which tells about the transformation of a 70-year-old woman into a 20-year-old herself after visiting a magical photo studio. The premiere took place on January 22, 2014 . During the screening in cinemas, a record number of 8.65 million tickets were sold for the film. Winner of many awards, mainly in the categories of best film and best actress .

Content

Story

74-year-old O Mal Sung ( Na Moon Hee ) lives with her son, his wife and two grandchildren. Constant conflicts with the daughter-in-law force her to leave the house. Walking through the streets of the city, she comes across a photo studio, where she was promised to take a picture of unprecedented beauty. Coming out of the photo studio, she is already at the age of 20 years ( Sim Yungyon ). Having become young, she wants to take full advantage of her age.
