The song was released on April 20, 2012 and was written by Amy MacDonald and produced by Pete Wilkinson . The song entered the UK single chart at number 45, its highest chart position after This Is the Life climbed to No. 28 in 2007. The song also participated in the charts of Austria , Belgium , Germany and Switzerland .

In an interview with the BBC Breakfast on June 11, 2012, Amy said the song was about taking a break, slowing her pace, and stopping all the craziness for a while. [one]
Music video
The music video for the song, directed by Pip, [2] was released on May 9, 2012. [3] The video was shot in the province of Almeria , Spain, in particular in the Tabernas desert and the Cabo de Gata Nihar Natural Park. [2] [4]
Live performances
On June 2, 2012, she performed a song in the finals of the second part of the Polish X-Factor together with the Polish women's band The Chance , which participated in the competition. [5] On June 8, 2012, she performed a song on Alan Carr's Summer Specstacular show . [6] On June 11, 2012, the song was also performed live on the BBC Breakfast . [7] On June 16, 2012, Amy performed a song on Loose Women . July 7, 2012 - at the T in the Park festival at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut Music Bar, located on St. Vincent's Street in Glasgow , Scotland .
