Biography

The son of the Persian prince Bachmann Mirza . According to metric evidence, he was born in Tiflis from the legal wife of the Persian prince Behman Mirza - Gevhar Khanum Ismail Khan kyzy [1] .

He received his general education in the house of parents and in the Caucasian training company . December 10, 1880 by the Highest Order determined to serve as a warrant officer with enrollment in the army infantry. March 28, 1881 was seconded to the 149th Infantry Black Sea Regiment . December 25, 1882 was seconded to the 1st Caucasian Horse Regiment of the Kuban Cossack Army . Appointed as a subaltern officer in the 3rd hundred .

From March 23, 1884 to January 10, 1885, he was sent with 4 hundred regiments to strengthen Merv of the Trans-Caspian region .

On December 18, 1885 he was assigned to the 1st Poltava Horse Regiment of the Kuban Cossack Army. February 4, 1886 was appointed subaltern officer in the 3rd hundred.

Second Lieutenant (v. August 30, 1884). A participant in the campaign of 1884-1885 [in Turkestan?]. Lieutenant (v. August 30, 1888). Headquarters Captain (art. March 15, 1899). Captain (v. May 6, 1900). October 20, 1900 transferred to the 79th Infantry Kurinsky Regiment . He commanded a company (10 l. 4 m. 13 d.). Lieutenant Colonel (Article 26 August 1912). On May 15, 1913 in the same rank in the 208th Lori Infantry Regiment . Member of the First World War . The 205th Infantry Regiment (VP 08 January 1916) was transferred to Shemakha . Commanded a battalion . Colonel (v. July 19, 1915).

May 10, 1905 in Kutaisi took the oath of allegiance to Russia. Seyfulla-Mirza is the only son of Prince Bahman-Mirza who, according to archival and family documents, swore allegiance to Russia [1] .

February 19, 1917 was awarded the St. George Arms

 for the fact that, being a lieutenant colonel in the battle, on April 22, 1915 at the village Sedalski, when the regiment was ordered to withdraw, and the enemy launched an attack on his battalion, despite the contusion, he energetically launched a counterattack to detain the Germans and allow the neighboring battalions to calmly withdraw. Being then surrounded by the enemy, bravely made his way and joined his regiment [2] . 

On March 6, 1917, by order of the army and navy on the military ranks of the land department, Colonel Seyfulla-Mirza was appointed commander of the 15th Zaamur border infantry regiment.

Awards: Order of St. Anne , 3rd Art. (1910); St. Stanislav 2nd art. (March 17, 1913).

Service in Azerbaijan

November 15, 1918 was appointed head of the quartermaster service of the General Staff of the ADR army. [3] In 1920 he was the headquarters officer for assignments under the ADR Minister of War. [four]
