Content
Biography
He started as an extra at the Barrandov film studio. He worked as a director of documentary, popular science and educational films. He made his debut in gaming cinema in 1947 ("A week in a quiet house "). He shot dramas, detective stories, biographies. Most of the paintings are adaptations of Czech literary classics, scripts for which were written either by himself or in co-authorship. Starred in the films of his colleagues.
