Career

Wolverhampton Wanderers

Bennett was born in Telford . He started his football career when he was 9 years old, having got to the Wolverhampton Wanderers school from the city of the same name. He was the captain of the children's team (up to 12). In 2001, he went to Japan for the children's World Cup (under 12), in which his team won first place. He also became the best player in the tournament. He later went to college in his hometown, where he became the captain of the local team and helped them get the local cup five times in a row. After some time, he dropped out of school to join the "wolves". In March 2007, Elliott signed his first professional contract. The midfielder has never entered the field as part of the championship, but twice appeared in matches of the Football League Cup .

Brighton & Hove Albion

Having been leased to clubs such as Crew Alexandra and Bury , Elliott Bennett finally left the Wolves camp, signing a three-year contract with Brighton and Hove Albion in 2009. Bennett had a successful 2010/11 season, playing a significant role in his team entering the Championship .
