Biography
Born April 22, 1882 in Los Molinos, Argentina. On June 17, 1905 he was ordained a priest to serve in the diocese of Cordoba .
On January 8, 1932, Pope Pius XI appointed him auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Cordoba and titular bishop of Tinum. On June 5, 1932, he was ordained bishop by the bishop of Cordoba, Fermin Emile Lafitte, in conjunction with the titular bishop of Temnus Miguel Andrea and the titular bishop of Podalia Ramon Harrison Abelho.
On September 13, 1934, Pope Pius XI issued the Bull Nobilis Argentinae nationis , which established the Diocese of Rio Quarto and appointed Leopoldo Buteler its first bishop.
Died July 22, 1961.
