Competition Results
Boxing
Quotas won by athletes are personalized. If two or more athletes win a trip to the Games from one country, then the right to choose a boxer is granted to the National Olympic Committee. Boxing competitions are held in the playoffs. To win the Olympic tournament, the boxer must win either four or five victories, depending on the draw of the competitions. Both athletes who lose in the semifinal matches become owners of bronze awards.
The Federated States of Micronesia received the only Olympic license in boxing by decision of a special tripartite commission [1] .
