The Argentine Academy of Literature ( Spanish: Academia Argentina de Letras ) is an organization that conducts research and consultations in the use of the Spanish language in Argentina [1] . Established on August 13, 1931 in Buenos Aires [2] , since its establishment it has been in contact with the Royal Academy of Spanish with other organizations - members of the Association of Academies of Spanish , since 1999 it has been officially a correspondent organization of this Association.

The Academy currently has 24 permanent members: linguists and literary scholars working in the field of Spanish language and literature, writers, translators, among them - Santiago Covadloff, Jose Luis Moure, Jorge Fernandez Diaz and others.
