Victor Lundin ( born Victor Lundin ; June 15, 1930 , Chicago , Illinois - June 29, 2013 , Los Angeles ) is an American actor who is known for playing Friday in the movie Robinson Crusoe on Mars . He also starred in the television series Star Trek , Batman , and Temporary Space "And" Babylon 5 ".

Biography
Victor Lundin was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 15, 1930 [1] . His father was of German descent, and his mother was English. He dreamed of becoming an actor since childhood: his father worked in a movie theater, and often drove his son there. Studying at the preparatory school of the Technical College Lane [2] , Victor attends opera singing classes, and also plays in the school baseball team. While studying in college, he tries himself in radio shows, voicing small roles. The baseball player’s career ended early for him: in the second game for the Skokie Indians team, in which he played as a pitcher, Victor received a serious arm injury. [2]
After college, Lundin enters Roosevelt University and after a year of study I received an offer to play a role in Don Giovanni in the Lyric Opera of Chicago . This made it possible for him to study abroad in Italy. However, he refused and instead went to California to realize the dream of an acting profession. Victor enters Loyola Marymount University and receives a bachelor of arts degree . [1] According to the calculations of Lundin himself, between the late 1950s and the late 1960s he took part in the filming of about 100 films and television series. He starred in films such as The Barker Killer Family , Two on a swing and Handsome Gesture . In 1964, Lundin starred as Friday in the movie Byron Haskin Robinson Crusoe on Mars . During this period, he also taught singing. Among his students was Lucille Ball ; however, after some time, he refused to work with her, because "she was a heavy smoker, like a bass profundo ." [2]
In the 1960s, Lundin starred in science fiction television series. In the Batman series, he plays one of the Penguin 's minions, in Journey to the Bottom of the Ocean - an alien. In 1967, Lundin played the Klingon in the series Star Trek, which first appeared in the movie saga of the character of this fictional alien race. [3] In addition, he auditioned for the role of Spock , which later went to Leonard Nimoy . [2]
In the 1990s, he starred in the series Babylon 5 as the representative of Psi Corps .
Victor Lundin was never married, but spent his whole life in a civil marriage with Amelia Prigarsky. They had two sons and a daughter. Victor Lundin died after a long serious illness at the age of 83 on June 29, 2013 in Thousand Oaks, California. [four]
