Play career
Luis Zubeldia spent his entire professional football career at Lanus Club. October 30, 1998, he made his debut in the Argentine Example, in a home match against Independiente . In 2004, Zubeldia was forced to end his playing career due to osteochondrosis of the knee.
Coaching career
In June 2008, Zubeldia was appointed head coach of Lanus . At this time he was 27 years old, which made him the youngest head coach in the history of the Argentine Examples [1] . In Apertura 2008, “Lanus” under his leadership became the fourth, and Clausure 2009 - the third. In the general table of the 2008/09 season, "Lanus" with 75 points won first place, which was the best result of the club in its history.
On June 23, 2011, Zubeldia became the head coach of the Ecuadorian Barcelona .
