Biography
Born in the family of a miner-fastener. Member of the RCP (b) since 1925
In 1931 he graduated from the Higher School of the Trade Union Movement in Kharkov, in 1933 graduate school of the Institute of the Red Professors in Kharkov, in 1939 - training courses for the commanding staff of the NKVD of the USSR.
He worked as a lamp-holder, a laborer at the Ignatievsky mine; assistant to the builder at mine No. 1 of the Shcheglovskoye mine administration, time-attendant at a steam locomotive-car repair plant in the Stalin District.
