Biography

Born in the family of a miner-fastener. Member of the RCP (b) since 1925

In 1931 he graduated from the Higher School of the Trade Union Movement in Kharkov, in 1933 graduate school of the Institute of the Red Professors in Kharkov, in 1939 - training courses for the commanding staff of the NKVD of the USSR.

He worked as a lamp-holder, a laborer at the Ignatievsky mine; assistant to the builder at mine No. 1 of the Shcheglovskoye mine administration, time-attendant at a steam locomotive-car repair plant in the Stalin District.

  • 1928-1929 - Head of the economic department of the district committee of the Stalin city committee of the Komsomol of Ukraine,
  • May-October 1929 - instructor in the cultural work of the Stalin Okrkustpromkredit,

  • April-November 1930 - Chairman of the factory committee of the Union of Metalworkers of the plant named after Koval,
  • May-November 1931 - head of the department of cultural and mass work of the Kharkov Tractor Plant,
  • 1933-1935 - Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Shestakov MTS, Bolshe-Viskovsky District, Odessa Region,
  • 1935-1937 - Deputy Director of the Baratovsk MTS for political affairs,
  • 1937-1938 - instructor of the agricultural department of the Nikolaev regional committee of the Communist Party (b) of Ukraine,
  • May-December 1938 - the first secretary of the Dolginsky district committee of the Communist Party (b) of Ukraine,
  • January-July 1939 - People's Commissar of Internal Affairs of the Tajik SSR.
