Farit Glyusovich Ganiev (born January 19, 1964, the village of Verkhneyarkeevo , Ilishevsky District , Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic) is a Russian politician and lawyer, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the VII convocation. Member of the United Russia political party. Member of the Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption [1] .

Biography
Born on January 19, 1964 in the village of Verkhneyarkeevo, Ilishevsky district, Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. He studied at the school of the village of Kushnarenkovo. After its completion in 1982 he graduated from the technical school No. 50 of Ufa. In 1991 he graduated from the full-time department of the law faculty of Bashkir State University [3] .
From 1982 to 1984, he served in the Armed Forces of the USSR.
1984 a teacher of labor and physical education in the Pervushinskaya eight-year school of the Kushnarenkovsky district of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Then he worked as a technician at the Department of TMGM of Bashkir State University.
1991 - trainee investigator at the Sterlitamak Transport Prosecutor's Office.
1991 to 1992 - Lecturer of the basics of law and law, chairman of the trade union committee of students of the Bashkir Medical College.
1993 to 1994 - Investigator of the investigation department of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Ufa.
1994 to 1997 - Senior investigator of the department for the investigation of especially important cases of the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
1997 to 2003 - Senior Lecturer, Department of Criminalistics, Faculty of Law, Bashkir State University and lawyer of the Bashkir Republican College of Lawyers;
2003 to 2007 - Senior Investigator of the Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan (seconded to the Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation).
2007 to 2008 - Senior Investigator of the Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee at the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Bashkortostan (seconded to the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia).
2008 to 2015 - Senior Investigator for Particularly Important Cases of the Office for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of Crimes against the Government and in the Sphere of Economics of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee under the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation [3] .
2015 - Assistant to the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
He participated in the investigation of criminal cases against Khodorkovsky, Berezovsky, Gusinsky, against officials of OJSC Rusnano and other criminal cases. From 2008 to 2015 the head of the criminal investigation team in relation to the shareholders of the Menatep group (Khodorkovsky and others). He took part in joint investigative actions in Spain, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, India and other countries.
In September 2016, he was elected to the State Duma of the VII convocation [4] .

From 2016 to 2019, during the term of office of a deputy of the State Duma of the VII convocation, he co-authored 43 legislative initiatives and amendments to draft federal laws [5] .
