Opened in 1896 [1] simultaneously with the extension of the Great Siberian Route to the east of Omsk.

As of 2016, passenger traffic is represented by commuter trains connecting Kalachinskaya with neighboring junction stations - Omsk and Tatar , with three trains in each direction daily [2] .
