Crater Description
The immediate neighbors of Wells Crater are Milliken Crater in the north; Becquerel Crater in the east; Tesla Crater in the southeast and Kantor Crater in the southwest [3] . Selenographic coordinates of the center of the crater , diameter 108.9 km [4] , depth 2.9 km [1]
Wells Crater has a circular shape and is almost completely destroyed. The shaft is flattened and covered by many craters of various sizes and has actually turned into a ring of freestanding peaks and ridges. The bottom of the bowl is relatively flat, probably lined with lava , streaked with many small craters.
