Tarkhanovskoe village settlement is a municipality in the Temnikovsky district of Mordovia of the Russian Federation .

The administrative center is the village of Tarkhany .

History

The status and boundaries of a rural settlement are established by the Law of the Republic of Mordovia dated December 28, 2004 No. 124-Z “On Establishing the Borders of Municipalities of Temnikovsky Municipal District, Ruzayevsky Municipal District and Granting them the Status of a Rural Settlement, Urban Settlement and Municipal District” ^[3] .

By the law of May 17, 2018 N 49-З, the Ishaisk rural settlement and village council were abolished, and the settlements included in their composition (the village of Isheiki and the villages of Begishevo , Dosaevo , Engurazovo and Ideevo ) were included in the Tarhanovo rural settlement and village council with the administrative center in the village of Tarkhany ^[4] .
