Company History
In 1975, Martin Herrenknecht founded his own engineering company . [1] Two years later, it was already the company Herrenknecht GmbH with a capital of 20 million euros. In 1991, Herrenknecht bought Maschinen- und Stahlbau GmbH from Dresden . In 1998, the company became a joint stock company, having received the current name Herrenknecht AG.
