Opinions
Enthusiastic reviews about Pirogov and the collection “I want to be poor” were written by Dmitry Volodikhin and Andrei Rudalyov .
According to Volodikhin, Pirogov is “ a pronounced soilman who dares to declare that without soil there can be nothing good in literary work. <...> No one will listen to him, but he is right. Its truth is simple: believe, do not lie, sympathize with people. <...> ". [5]
According to Rudalyov, - Pirogov “ starting from a literary informational occasion, leaves for his forest, where he cuts down philosophical letters. <...> Pirogov is a sociocultural thinker who writes an adequate diary of our time . " [6]
The writer Vladimir Gugnin (Guga) mentioned Pirogov as "a poisonous and uncontrollable critic, prone to nationalism." [7]
