Geography
Chulki-Sokolovo is located 3 km south-west of Zaraysk , on the left bank of the Sturgeon River [5] , the height of the village center above sea level is 141 m [2] .
History
The state farm Chulki-Sokolovo, with a central estate in the village of Chulki, was founded in 1918, in the 1950s the village of Sokolova and the state farm were included in the state farm and the village acquired its modern name. The village has a post office, a cultural center, a library, a secondary school, a kindergarten, shops, mechanical workshops, a garage, and a dairy farm [6] .
Until November 29, 2006 it was the center of the Strupnensky rural district , 2006—2017. - the center of the municipality is the rural settlement of Strupnenskoye [7] .
