Socrates Scholastic in his work “Church History” reports that Eusebius Scholastic was an eyewitness to the military operations of the Gothic commander Gaina . While in Constantinople, Eusebius visits the famous sophistry teacher Troilus . In the capital, Eusebius wrote the essay "The History of Gaina", which describes in detail the military battles of the commander Gaina. “The History of Gaina” is a poetic work in four books written in hexametric size. Socrates Scholastic reports that the work of Eusebius aroused the surprise of contemporaries. The work of Eusebius was not preserved.
