Philip Michael "Phil" Lester (born January 30, 1987) is a British youtube, blogger and radio host on BBC Radio 1 . Best known for his YouTube channel, called AmazingPhil , which has more than 4.2 million subscribers.

Biography
Phil Lester was born and grew up in Rotenstall, Lancashire. Together with his elder brother - Martin Lester. He studied at the Rothenstall Grammar School (Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School). After graduation, he entered the University of York at the Faculty of English and Linguistics.
Leicester lived from August 2011 with Dan Howell in Manchester, but in July 2012, the two of them moved to London, where they live to this day.

The book also became the No. 1 New York Times Bestseller in the young adult hardcover.
