Philip Michael "Phil" Lester (born January 30, 1987) is a British youtube, blogger and radio host on BBC Radio 1 . Best known for his YouTube channel, called AmazingPhil , which has more than 4.2 million subscribers.

Biography
Phil Lester was born and grew up in Rotenstall, Lancashire. Together with his elder brother - Martin Lester. He studied at the Rothenstall Grammar School (Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School). After graduation, he entered the University of York at the Faculty of English and Linguistics.
Leicester lived from August 2011 with Dan Howell in Manchester, but in July 2012, the two of them moved to London, where they live to this day.

In connection with the release of the book, Dan and Phil traveled to the UK in October and November 2015, conducting autograph sessions as part of The Amazing Tour Is Not On Fire tour. The book sold 26,745 copies in the UK in the first week of release, topping the list of General Hardbacks Sunday Times Bestsellers. The book also became the No. 1 New York Times Bestseller in the young adult hardcover.
It was also translated into Russian under the title "The Amazing Book Is Not On Fire: The Story of Youtube Dan and Phil Sensations."
Since 2016, they have expanded their tour, making it almost global, including the United States, Australia, Ireland, Sweden and Germany.
Dan and Phil Go Outside
Dan and Phil announced the release of the new book Dan And Phil Go Outside (also known as DaPGO). The book was published in November 2016 and consists of a collection of photos from their tour, supplemented by comments.
