Biography
Born December 27, 1916 in a peasant family Nikolaevka of the Poltava province (today - Troitsk Globinsky district ). Received primary education in his native village. From the age of 16 she worked at the Pustovoitovsky beet farm. She worked as a laborer and a beet-link manager. After the liberation in 1943, the Poltava region restored the destroyed state farm. She was appointed the beet leader.
In 1948, a team led by Anastasia Panchenko collected an average of 31.7 centners of grain per hectare on a 60-hectare site. In 1949, she was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor "for obtaining high yields of wheat, rye and sugar beets when the state farm fulfilled the plan for delivering agricultural products to the state in 1948 and providing seeds of all crops in the amount of the total need for spring sowing in 1949."
From 1953 to 1964 - the foreman of the pig farm. From 1964 until retirement - telephone operator of the Pustovoitovsky state farm.
After retirement, she lived in the village of Pustovoitovo, Globinsky district, where she died in 1983. Buried in a rural cemetery. The grave of Anastasia Panchenko is a historical and cultural monument of the Poltava region [1] .
