Story

The Great Patriotic War ends. A detachment of Soviet soldiers arrives in a small Polish village. One of them, an attractive and young Mikhail, is dating a local Polish girl, Zosei. He begins to care for her, Zosya answers Michael in return. Mutual distrust due to the difficult relationship between the Poles and Russian soldiers, as well as the prospect of a quick send to the front, cannot become an obstacle to the nascent love between Zosia and Mikhail.
