History
The city of Novocheboksarsk was endowed with the status of a city district with the Law of the Chuvash Republic of November 24, 2004 N 37 "On establishing the boundaries of municipalities of the Chuvash Republic and giving them the status of urban, rural settlement, municipal district and urban district." [3]
