Content
Geography
The village is located 15 km from the city of Mariinsky Posad and 49 km from the nearest city of Cheboksary [2] [3] [4] .
History
Founded in the 17th century. Over the years it has been a part of: Cheboksary county , Posadsko-Sotnikovskaya volost (from the 17th century), Mariinsko-Posadsky district (since 10/1/1927), Cheboksarsky district (from 12/10/1962), Mariinsko-Posadsky area (since 3/14/1965) [2] [5] .
In 1858 a rural parish school was opened, a parish school was founded on November 1, 1878.
In 1930 the kolkhoz "True Path" was created.
