Narcissus, Daniel

Daniel Narcisse ( French: Daniel Narcisse ; born December 16, 1979 , Saint-Denis ) is a French handball player who plays for the Paris Club Saint-Germain . Two-time Olympic champion (2008, 2012) [1] , 4-time world champion and three-time European champion in the French team, for which he played in 2000-2017.

Career

Club

A graduate of the Joinville club. In 1998, he signed his first contract with the Chambery club, in his composition he won the French Championship in the 2000/01 season, the French League Cup in the 2001/02 season, and also reached the French Cup final in the 2001/02 season. In 2004 he moved to the German club Gummersbach, where he spent three seasons, after which he returned to Chambery, with whom he became the silver medalist of the French championship and reached the final of the French Cup in the 2008/2009 season.

In 2009, Narcisse transferred to Kiel , with whom he became the German champion three times, won twice the EHF Champions League in the seasons 2009/10 and 2011/12, as well as the German Cup in the seasons 2010/11 2011/12 and 2012/13. In total for Kiel he played 163 matches and scored 447 goals [2] . In 2013, he signed a contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

For the French national team, Daniel Narcisse played 309 matches and scored 912 goals. He made his debut for the national team on January 9, 2000 in the match against Iceland. In March 2017, Narcisse announced the completion of a career in the French national team [3] .
