Augustin Capodistria ( Greek Αυγουστίνος Καποδίστριας 1778 - 1857 ) is the younger brother of John Capodistria .

Biography
Augustinos Kapodistrias was born on February 11, 1776, on Corfu Island, where his father, Anton Kapodistrias (1741–1819), a descendant of a family that moved to Corfu at the end of the 14th century from Capo d'Istria [2] , held various honorary positions in the service of Venetian government [3] .
From 1828 he served in various positions in Greece , while he discovered very modest abilities.
In 1831, after the death of his brother, was president of the provisional government, then ( December 20, 1831 ) he was elected temporary governor , but after several uprisings he resigned power, April 13, 1832 , and returned to Corfu Island.
