History

The status and boundaries of a rural settlement are established by the Law of the Republic of Mordovia of December 28, 2004 No. 119-З “On establishing the boundaries of municipalities of the Insarsky municipal district, the Insarsky municipal district and giving them the status of a rural settlement, urban settlement and municipal district” [3] .

By the law of May 17, 2018 N 41-Z Novleyskoye , Staroverhisiskoe , Yandovischenskoye rural settlements and village councils of the same name were abolished, and the settlements included in them were included in the newly formed Novoverhisky rural settlement and village council with the administrative center in the village of Novye Verkhissy [4] .
