Hercules Supercluster ( SCl 160 , English Hercules Superclusters ) - a supercluster of galaxies in the constellation Hercules . It consists of two neighboring, interconnected, superclusters of galaxies, which are often referred to as the northern and southern parts of a single supercluster of Hercules. The northern part is located at a distance of 400 million light years, a little further, at a distance of 500 million light years, lies the southern part of the supercluster [2] .

In the 1930s, Harlow Shapley studied the distribution structure of galaxies in the constellation Hercules, and was probably the first to know about the existence of a supercluster in this area. However, this was not confirmed until the 1970s. In 1976, Massimo Tarenhi suggested that the A2151 cluster is part of a single supercluster, and at a conference on the large-scale structure of the Universe in Estonia in 1977, he, together with V. Typhus, G. Chinsarini, S. Rood and L. Thompson, presented evidence that the supercluster appears in this region [2] .
Compared to other local superclusters, the Hercules supercluster is considered especially large, reaching approximately 330 million light-years in diameter. The redshifts of the galaxies entering the supercluster are between 0.0304 and 0.0414 [1] .
The supercluster includes Abell 2147 , the Hercules Cluster (Abell 2151) and Abell 2152 [3] [4] . It was found that the distant clusters Abell 2197 and Abell A2199, connected by extremely long filaments of galaxies, also belong to the supercluster of Hercules [4] . Abell 2162 in the constellation Northern Crown is also a member of the supercluster [5] .
The Hercules supercluster is located near the supercluster of Veronica's Hair , both of which are parts of the Great Wall of CfA2 [6] .
