The status and boundaries of a rural settlement are established by the Law of the Republic of Mordovia dated February 7, 2005 No. 12-Z “On Establishing the Borders of Municipalities of the Zubovo-Polyansky Municipal District, Zubovo-Polyansky Municipal District and Granting them the Status of a Rural Settlement, Urban Settlement and Municipal District” ^{[3 ]} .
