Belovinsky, Leonid Vasilievich

He was born on April 12, 1942 in the city of Shadrinsk, Chelyabinsk Region (from February 6, 1943 - in the Kurgan Region ).

In 1968 he graduated from the Faculty of History of MV Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in historian .

In 1970-1972 he studied at the graduate school and in 1973 he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of historical sciences on the topic "Allotments and duties of former serfs in the Vologda, Vyatka and Olonets provinces on the eve and after the reform of 1861."

In 1972-2002 - Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, Professor, Head of the Department of Museology, Moscow State University of Culture .

Since 2002 - Professor at the Russian State University for the Humanities in the Department of Museology and professor at the Department of Museum Affairs at the Academy of Retraining of Art, Culture and Tourism Workers .

In 2003 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences on the topic "Cultural and historical aspects of everyday life: Content, structure and dynamics" ^[1]

Since 2012, professor at the Department of History, History of Culture and Museum Studies of the Social and Humanitarian Faculty of the Moscow State Institute of Culture .

His work has greatly expanded the information and reference base of the historiography of everyday life ^[2] . Studying everyday life , he develops the direction begun by Yu. M. Lotman , expanding the concept of everyday life by including the techniques of leisure , religiosity , considering what he calls “different levels of everyday life” ^[3] (for example, sleep techniques and other body techniques, holidays , etc. ^[4] ).
