Osama bin Laden is an Indian elephant , notorious for terrorizing the inhabitants of Indian villages, killing a total of 27 people (according to other sources - 14 people).

Biography
The elephant was named after the famous Islamic terrorist Osama bin Laden [1] . The elephant was a male, three meters tall. For two years he terrorized the population of the Indian state of Assam . The elephant destroyed more than a hundred houses, destroyed peasant fields, and killed local residents. Apparently, the elephant was smart, he managed to hide from the chase, he quickly changed his location and left no traces for hunters. It was noted that the elephant is not afraid of firecrackers and fire and traps are not afraid of him [2] . The scale of his atrocities has reached such limits that the local authorities were forced to send a military detachment and a police unit to eliminate the infuriated elephant, in addition, experienced foresters were involved in the operation.
December 18, 2006 a certain elephant was shot at point blank range. There is no unequivocal opinion whether this was the same elephant, or if another was mistakenly killed, no. However, there have been no further reports of new killings by elephants [3] .
Attacks by elephants on humans are not uncommon. From 2001 to 2006, in the Indian state of Assam, elephants killed more than 250 people. Elephants in the mating season sometimes fall into must and begin to destroy everything that catches their eye. In addition, studies have shown that elephants like to drink beer. Some elephants break people's homes, find stocks of home-made beer there and, after drinking it, become insane [4] .
