Biography.

Born in the family of a Soviet diplomat and orientalist Sergey G. Golovchenko (diplomatic rank - adviser), who worked in Vietnam for many years. He studied at the Institute of Asian and African Countries (ISAA at Moscow State University, Department of Chinese Philology). He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University (1986).
