Biography
Born in 1904. He graduated from the institute with a degree in livestock. After the start of World War II, he was evacuated to the east of the USSR.
In 1944 he returned to Ukraine. He lived in Poltava , where he worked in the regional trust of state farms. He was appointed director of the pig army farm named after the Red Army.
In 1947, the Red Army state farm collected an average of 15.8 centners of wheat per sown area of two thousand hectares. In the same year, an average of 18 piglets were raised from each sow.
In 1948, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor “for obtaining high yields of wheat and rye when the state farm fulfills the plan for delivering agricultural products to the state in 1947 and providing grain seeds for spring sowing in 1948.”
In the 1950s, during Soviet anti-Semitic politics, he was sentenced to five years in prison for allegedly illegally purchasing electrical equipment for a pig farm. He was stripped of the title Hero of Socialist Labor. After some time, the verdict of the court was canceled and the honorary title was returned to him [1] . After his release, he lived in the village of Stepnoye in the Poltava region, then moved to the Moscow region, where he worked as deputy director, director of one of the state farms of Podolsky district.
