Olga Vladimirovna Skabeeva (born December 11, 1984 , Volzhsky ) is a Russian journalist and TV presenter . Together with her husband, Yevgeny Popov, hosts the talk show “ 60 Minutes ” on the Russia-1 television channel.

Biography
She was born on December 11, 1984 [1] in the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd Region [2] , where she graduated from high school. In the tenth grade, she decided to become a journalist [3] . She began her journalistic career in the local newspaper City Week [2] .
Studied at the Faculty of Journalism of St. Petersburg State University . During her studies, she worked in the Vesti Saint Petersburg program. She was a Potanin Foundation scholar.
In 2008, she graduated with honors from the University [4] [5] and came to work at the federal editorial office of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company [3] . She worked as a correspondent for the Vesti program.
In 2007 she received the Golden Pen Award in the nomination “Perspective of the Year” and the Youth Prize of the Government of St. Petersburg.
In 2008, she became a laureate of the “Profession Reporter” contest in the “Journalistic Investigation” nomination [3] .
In 2015-2016, she hosted the Vesti.doc program on the Rossiya-1 television channel [6] . In this television project, journalistic investigations were combined with a studio discussion [2] .
Since September 12, 2016, together with her husband Yevgeny Popov, he has been conducting the 60-minute social and political talk show on the Russia-1 television channel, which has been announced as a discussion program on high-profile topics [7] .
Since January 2019, she has been the leading vlog # of seydobro on the YouTube channel “Russia-24” [8] .
On July 21, 2019, she became the host of the Vesti Nedeli program, replacing Dmitry Kiselyov , who had gone on a summer vacation (in previous years, the usual Vesti [9] were used instead of this program).
Criticism
In his reports, he systematically criticizes the Russian opposition [3] . Television critics Irina Petrovskaya and Slava Taroshchina noted her characteristic “prosecutorial-revealing” reporting style [10] and “metal voice”. She allowed on-air calls and insults to the participants of the “60 Minutes” program and a number of Ukrainian politicians (such as Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko and Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Paruby , members of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE [9] [11] [12] ).
Family
In April 2013, she married VGTRK journalist Yevgeny Popov [13] , which is Skabeeva’s second marriage [14] . On January 14, 2014, the couple had a son, Zakhar [15] .
