Acting

In 2009, Elaha played the role of Parvin Abbashi in four episodes of the soap opera Residents of the East End on BBC [2] [3] . She also starred in such series as Doctors [4] , Purely English Murder [5] , Omid Jalili Show [6] [7] , Holby City [8] , Lewis [9] “ Silent Witness ” [10] [11] and “ Murder on the Beach ” [12] .

In 2008, she played Moon and Jasminka in David Edgar's play Test Echo as part of the Out of Joint Theater Company and at the Tricycle Theater [13] [14] [15] [16] . In 2009, Farzana Dua played the role of Aisha in the play “What Fatima Did” at the Hampstead Theater [17] [18] [19] . She also played in the plays Flame, Chat, Citizenship [20] [21] and Profit [22] .

In January 2010, Elaha Hoshu Bint Mahmoud participated in the radio adaptation of Tayyib Salih's novel “Season of Migration to the North” on BBC Radio 3 [23] . In 2011, she starred in a minor role in Menhai Hada's film Everywhere and Nowhere. In 2014, she played Mahira in the film adaptation of Richard C. Morais’s novel, “The Path of One Hundred Steps.”

Musical career

At the end of 2010, Elaha escaped to the UK club scene, giving concerts in London clubs and later international concerts [24] . He acts as a DJ under the pseudonym Habit To Others, performing music in the genres of deep house , dip techno , house and disco . The performer was inspired by gage , acid house , hardcore techno , drum and bass and old school jungle . At the moment she gives concerts in all the underground clubs in London .
