Biography
He was born on April 12, 1917 in the village of Chinadievo ( Bereg committee , Austria-Hungary , now - an urban-type village of Mukachevo district of Transcarpathian region ) in a large peasant family. He studied at a public school, Mukachevo city school, Mukachevo trade academy.
Since 1936 - a member of the Subcarpathian Youth Union. Member of the Subcarpathian regional organization of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia since 1937. In 1937 he took part in the anti-fascist youth rally in Prague . From October 1937 to March 1939 he served in the Czechoslovak Army.
On the night of May 7, 1940 illegally crossed the Hungarian-Soviet border. He was sentenced to five years in forced labor camps, worked as a timekeeper in the Pechora mines. In 1942 he was released and in December of the same year he entered the Czechoslovak military unit, studied at officer courses. Member of the Second World War . Since October 1943 - the platoon commander of the anti-tank battery. He was awarded the Czechoslovakian military cross and the Soviet medal "For Courage" . He was wounded, was treated in Moscow and Gagra .
Since December 1944 in Transcarpathia . Since January 1945 - instructor of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Transcarpathian Ukraine. From March 15, 1945 to September 1947, he was the first secretary of the Mukachevo District Party Committee. He studied at the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine in Kiev , after which he worked as the second secretary of the Mukachevo District Party Committee, and since December 1950 he was again the first secretary.
In 1952–1953, he was the second secretary of the Transcarpathian Regional Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) U. From 1953 to June 1955, he headed the Zakarpatlesprom trust. From June 1955 to June 1963 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Transcarpathian Regional Council. From May 1963 to October 1981 he worked as chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Union of Consumer Cooperation.
He was a candidate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. He was elected a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the 5th convocation (1959-1963). In October 1957 he was awarded the Order of Lenin .
He died in Uzhgorod on April 15, 1993.
