Winners of the Golden Mask Award 2006
The jury chairman of the drama theater and puppet theater was directed by Alexey Borodin . The jury consisted of: Marina Azizyan (theater artist), Yuri Belyavsky (journalist), Olga Egoshina (theater critic), Igor Ignatiev (director of puppet theaters), Elena Kovalskaya (theater critic), Vyacheslav Kokorin (director), Dmitry Lokhov (artistic Leader of the Arkhangelsk Puppet Theater), Boris Lyubimov (theater critic), Lyudmila Maksakova (actress), Vidmantas Silyunas (art critic), Andrey Smolyakov (actor), Alyona Solntseva (theater and film critic), Rosa Khairullina (actress) [8] .
The choreographer Vladimir Vasilyev spoke as chairman of the jury of musical theaters. The jury consisted of: Leonid Boldin (singer), Natalia Gayda (singer), Leila Guchmazova (ballet critic), Maxim Dunaevsky (composer), Vladimir Kobekin (composer), Felix Korobov (conductor), Boris Messerer (theater artist), Mikhail Muginshtein (musicologist), Marina Nestieva (musicologist), Marina Romanovskaya (director of the Vitebsk International Festival of Contemporary Choreography), Alla Sigalova (choreographer, actress), Susanna Tsiryuk (director), Irina Yaskevich (musicologist, music critic) [8] .
The Golden Mask award ceremony was held on April 17 at the New Stage of the Bolshoi Theater [5] . The ceremony was staged by Dmitry Bertman . The winners in the nominations were announced by an animated image of the festival emblem on a large plasma screen [9] . The team of editors of the newspaper Vedomosti , noting that the organizers of previous festivals also had some problems with taste, called the ceremony kitsch [10] . Such a reception, according to the theater critic Marina Davydova , turned out to be very successful and allowed to forget for a while the existence of the jury, and all who came on the scene "listened to the oracle with some respectful reverence" [9] . At the same time, she expressed displeasure at the fact that most of the awards went to theatrical “masters”, and many worthy dramatic works turned out to be unnoticed by the judges. The only representative of the new theatrical generation was Andrei Moguchy , who received an award for the play “ Between a dog and a wolf ” in the nomination “Novation” [9] . At the same time, the victory of Alice Freindlich in the nomination “The Best Female Role” for playing in the one-man show “ Oscar and the Pink Lady ”, met by the audience with applause, and the victory of Vasily Bochkarev in the nomination “The Best Male Role” for the role of Pribytkov in the play “ The Last Victim ” are called more than fair [9] .
The laureate table was compiled on the basis of the award regulations (dated October 2000) [4] and the official list of laureates [11] .
