Biography
Born on June 8, 1909 in the village of Staroskakovskoye (now Dzerzhinsky District, Kaluga Region ). Russian
He was drafted into the Red Army by the Moskvoretsky District Military Commissariat of Moscow (Sevastopol City Military Commissariat) on September 15, 1928 . He graduated from the Sevastopol Military School of Anti-aircraft Artillery.
From June 1937 to April 1938 he participated in the national revolutionary war in Spain , was an adviser to the commander of the anti-aircraft artillery group, and an adviser to the air defense of the front. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1939 .
He graduated from the F.E.Dzerzhinsky Artillery Academy .
He participated in the Great Patriotic War from July 1941 . In the rank of major, he was deputy chief of staff of the air defense brigade, chief of artillery of the 15th separate air defense brigade. He took part in the defense of Odessa . He fought on the Crimean and North Caucasian fronts, was the chief of air defense of the combined arms army, the chief of artillery of the Krasnodar divisional air defense region, the commander of artillery of the Donbass corps air defense region. He fought on the 3rd Ukrainian and 4th Ukrainian fronts.
He took part in the Soviet-Japanese war on August 9, 1945 . He fought on the 1st Far Eastern Front , with the rank of colonel, was the commander of the artillery of the Primorsky Air Defense Army .
After the war he continued to serve in the Armed Forces of the USSR , served as commander of the artillery of the air defense district and chief of staff of the air defense of the Polish Army.
He graduated from the Academy of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR .
He worked as the head of the faculty and deputy head of the Higher Engineering Radio Engineering Academy (VIRTA) of air defense in combat training, and also served as head of the Scientific Research Institute of Anti-Aircraft Artillery in Gurzuf and head of the NII-2 in Kalinin .
From April 1957 to 1969 he was the head of the Kiev Higher Engineering Radio Engineering School of Air Defense .
In November 1969 , with the rank of lieutenant general of artillery , he retired. He was engaged in literary activities, the author of the book “Attention: air alert!” (Kiev: Politizdat, 1990).
He lived in the city of Kiev . He died in 1992 . He was buried at the Lukyanovsky military cemetery .

He was awarded the Order of Lenin , five orders of the Red Banner , two orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, the Order of the Red Star , medals "For the Defense of Odessa" , "For the Defense of the Caucasus" , "For the Victory over Germany" , "For the Victory over Japan" and others medals, as well as foreign awards.
