- The exchange reaction of sodium trifluoroacetate and silver nitrate, followed by extraction of silver trifluoroacetate with diethyl ether :

Physical Properties
Silver trifluoroacetate forms colorless crystals.
It is soluble in water, ether and benzene , poorly soluble in chloroform .
