Ashley Darel Jazz Richards ( born April 12, 1991 , Swansea , Wales ), better known as Jazz Richards , is a Welsh footballer defending Cardiff City and the national team for Wales .

Club career
Richards started playing football at Cardiff City . In 2007, he switched to the Swansea City youth system, which included his debut in professional football on August 15, 2009 in a match against Middlesbrough , where he replaced Sean MacDonald in the 63rd minute of the match [3] [4] . During the 2009/10 season, Richards played a total of 15 matches. At the end of the season, he extended his contract with Swansea City for two years [5] . On October 15, 2011, Richards made his debut in the English Premier League in a match against Norwich City [6] . Twelve days later, Richards extended his contract with the club for a year and a half [7] , and on March 28, 2013 he extended it until June 2016 [8] .
On January 25, 2013, Richards on a rental basis moved to Crystal Palace until the end of the 2013/14 season [9] . He made his debut at the club on January 30 in a match against Huddersfield Town [10] . In total, before the end of the season, as part of Crystal Palace, he played 11 matches and helped the club reach the Premier League.
On September 10, 2013, Richards went on a three-month lease at Huddersfield Town . He made his debut at the club on September 17 in a match against Charlton Athletic [11] . In total, Huddersfield Town played 9 matches. December 17, returned to the Swansea City.
On January 24, 2015, Richards transferred Fulham to a monthly rental, which was subsequently extended until the end of the season [12] [13] . As part of the club, Richards played 14 matches. On July 2, 2015, he signed a full-fledged contract with Fulham [14] .
On July 19, 2016, Richards moved to Cardiff City , signing a three-year contract with the club [15] .
International Career
Richards represented the junior national teams of Wales until the age of 17 and 19. He was called up to the youth team in March 2009 to meet with the youth team of Luxembourg , but did not enter the field. He made his debut on August 12 in the match against the youth team of Hungary [16] . Now represents the national team of Wales , which debuted on May 27, 2012 in a friendly match against the Mexican team [17] .
