"Archives of Ukraine" ( Ukrainian Archives of Ukraine ) - Ukrainian journal, the press organ of the State Committee of Archives of Ukraine and the Institute of Ukrainian Archeography and Source Studies named after Hrushevsky NAS of Ukraine (since 1993). It was founded in 1947 as the “Scientific Newsletter of the Archival Administration under the MIA of the Ukrainian SSR” for official use. It came out irregularly, until 1957 in Russian, with a circulation of 200–300 pieces.
After the transfer of archival institutions from the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 1960 to the Archival Administration (since 1974 - the Main Archival Administration) under the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR, the bulletin was issued 6 times a year. Since 1965, published under the modern name "Archives of Ukraine." Since 1980 - the publication of a journal type, since 1991 - a scientific and practical journal.
Since 1992, the journal has been published, as a rule, by paired numbers, since 1998 it has been printed in insignificant circulation only for archival institutions of the country. It contains articles on archival science and archiving, publishes collections of archival documents, reviews of sources, documentary essays, film and photo documents. Since 1999 - subordinate to the State Archives Committee of Ukraine.
