Galina Vasilievna Moskalets (signs her works as Galina Pagutyak ; born 1958 ) is a Ukrainian writer.

Biography

She was born on July 26, 1958 in the village of Zalokot (now Drogobych district , Lviv region , Ukraine ). Later the family moved to the village of Uryzh .

Father - Vasily Pagutyak, mother - Ivanna Basarab. Galina is the youngest of three daughters in the family.

Considers himself a descendant of the Wallachian ruler of Dracula ( Vlad Tepes from the Bassarab clan, or as Galina Pagutyak also calls him, Vlad Basarab ^[1] ).

She graduated from the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology of KSU named after T. G. Shevchenko . She worked at school, at the Drohobych Museum of Local Lore, a private school, and the Lviv Art Gallery. Member of the NSPU . Lives in Lviv .
