Biography

He graduated from the Lviv Conservatory in composition class A. Soltys (1963), graduate school at the Kiev Conservatory (1971).

Senior teacher of the Lviv (1966-1968), Kiev (since 1971) conservatory, associate professor (1978), professor (1988) of the composition and instrumentation department of the Kiev Conservatory.

Candidate of Art History (1972).

He died on July 21, 2017 in Kiev [1] .

3 services artist of the USSR (1987), People's Artist of Ukraine (1996) [2] . Prize winner M. Lysenko (1999), Prize. B. Lyatoshinsky (2004). Member of the Union of Composers of Ukraine . Cavalier of the Order of Merit, III degree (2008) [3] .
