Ship Description
The length of the vessel between the perpendiculars, according to various sources, was from 20.1 to 20.12 meters, the width was 6.1 meters, and the draft was from 2.3 to 2.34 meters. The armament of the vessel consisted of 12 guns [1] [2] [3] [4] .
Service History
Luger Peterhof was laid down at the Okhten shipyard on March 7 ( 19 ), 1829 , and after launching on November 1 ( 13 ), 1829 , it became part of the Baltic Fleet of Russia. The construction was carried out by shipbuilder V. F. Stokke [1] [5]
From 1830 to 1835, from 1837 to 1839 and 1842 to 1851, the luger went on practical voyages to the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Finland . August 30 ( September 11 ), 1834 participated in the opening ceremony of the monument to Alexander I. In 1836 he underwent timber at the Okhten Shipyard. In 1840 and 1841 he sailed in the Gulf of Bothnia , went to Swinemuende and Kiel . In 1852, went on cruising voyages to the shores of Denmark and Sweden as part of a squadron. In 1853 he went on a practical voyage to the Gulf of Finland [1] [2] .
In 1854 and 1855 he was in the port of Kronstadt . In 1856, he sailed between St. Petersburg and Kronstadt, July 23 ( August 4 ), 1856 , while on the Kronstadt roadstead, took part in the Highest Review of the Baltic Fleet [1] .
In 1861, the Peterhof luger was sold for scrap and on October 14 ( 26 ), 1861 , was excluded from the list of fleet vessels [1] [6] .
