Heavy Metal Music is the first and only studio album for the heavy metal band Newsted [10] . The album was released on August 6, 2013 [10] . This is the first release of Newsted , with guitarist Mike Mashok, who joined the group after the release of his debut mini-album - Metal (2013) [10] . The album is the only full-length release of the group, as bassist Jason Newstead “froze” the project in early 2014 [11] .
