Biography
He graduated from the Kharkov Medical Institute in 1923, worked there as an assistant in the Department of Pathophysiology. Since 1930 the head. Department of Pathophysiology, Smolensk Medical Institute . In 1933-1941 the head. Department of Pathophysiology, Kharkov Institute for Advanced Medical Studies , at the same time - Head. clinical physiological laboratory and the department of pathological chemistry of the Ukrainian Institute of Experimental Endocrinology (now - V.P. Komisarenko Institute of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the AMNU). Since 1941 Department of Pathophysiology, Alma-Ata Medical Institute and consultant evacuation hospitals of the Kazakh SSR. In 1945-1951 head. Clinical and physiological laboratory of the Institute of Nutrition AMS . At the same time in 1945-1961 head. Department of Pathological Physiology of the All-Union Institute of Endocrinology (now the Institute of Experimental Endocrinology and Hormone Chemistry AMS) and deputy. Director of this Institute (1953-1960). Since 1961 Department of Pathophysiology, Central Institute for Advanced Medical Studies .
The author of over 200 scientific papers.
He was a member of the editorial board of the journal "Problems of Endocrinology" and the editorial boards of the journals "Pathological Physiology", "Archive of Pathology" and "Nutrition Issues". He was editor of the department of "Physiology" in the 2nd ed. BME.
