Biography

The first actor's work was the film Pink Dreams (1976) directed by Dusan Ganak .

In 1977, he graduated from the Bratislava Higher School of Performing Arts with a degree in Theater Director .

He also made his debut in the theater in 1977 ( Trnava Theater for Children and Youth) in the play based on the novel by Mark Twain " Tom Sawyer ".

Since 1982, she has directed theater productions of the Radoshinsky naive theater (performances: Wedding, Black Sheep, Bride sold by Kubo, Pavilion B, Women's department, How I got myself, Hotel Europe).

Since 1992, he has been the full-time director of the Astorka Korzo'90 theater in Bratislava (performances: Casimir and Carolina, Tales from the Vienna Woods, Stepmother, Armageddon on the Horn, etc.). He is also the director of the Prague Theater "Studio Epsilon".

Since the 1990s, he has been engaged in filmmaking, the most famous film of Juraj Nvoty is a joint Slovak-Czech painting Cruel Joys (2002), which tells the story of a Czech notary who lived in a small Slovak town in the thirties of the 20th century. [2]

Juraj Nvota teaches at the Faculty of Dramatic and Puppetry of the Bratislava Higher School of Performing Arts (Department of Directing and Dramaturgy).

Personal life

In a marriage with his first wife Mirka Chibenkova, the son Yakub (also an actor and director) was born. The second wife of Yurai Nvota was the Slovak actress Anna Shishkova, daughter Teresa was born in a joint marriage. Yuray Nvota also raised the daughter of Anna Shishkova Dorota. Since 2005, married to a doctor Marina Slanchikova. [3]
