Biography

Champions of Ukraine in power extreme 2017.

Valery Nodarievich Gazaev was born on October 20, 1987 in the city of Kherson. Until 2004, he lived in the village of Nizhny Torgai of the Lower Serogoz district of Kherson region. He was involved in athletics, a multiple champion of the district in the 3000 meter race among schoolchildren. Life went on as usual in sports and studies (Valery was an excellent pupil, and only in grades 8 and 11 a few eight and nine-point grades appeared in the report card) until October 16, 2003. On this day his father passed away, as a result of which a year later Valery moved to a permanent place of residence in the city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhya region, where he received secondary education. In 2004 he met with the master of sports of Ukraine, the world champion in powerlifting Dzyuba Roman Ivanovich, who later became his coach. In 2010, at the Ukrainian Cup, he fulfills the standard of a master of sports. In the same period, begins to combine two sports - powerlifting and power extreme, the latter, in the future, becomes a priority in his sports career. In 2011, he made his debut as an organizer of power extreme tournaments with a friendly meeting between the national teams of Melitopol and Crimea (the first won with a score of 4: 1). In 2014, at the invitation of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, one of the curators of the 1st Mas-Wrestling World Championship Elena Tomskaya, with the easy hand of a curator, gathers the first team in the history of Ukraine from power sports and makes her debut at the World Championships in Yakutsk , Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). After which, by decision of the IMFR Congress, in 2015, he creates and leads the NGO Mas-Wrestling Federation of Ukraine. In addition to the leadership of the federation, he is studying the Yakut wrestling and begins to prepare the first qualified collections of Ukraine for a new sport. The result was not long in coming. At all subsequent world championships, the Ukrainian team confidently entered the TOP-4 of the best teams in the world and Europe. In 2019, at the absolute World Championship in Saudi Arabia, Valery Gazaev's student, Oleg Sylka, won the title of absolute world champion among 41 representatives from 40 countries of five continents. All six fights were won with a dry score 2: 0.
