Content
History
Founded in 1919 as the Central Pedagogical School ( Pers. دارالمعلمین مرکزی ), renamed the Higher Pedagogical School in 1928 ( Pers. دارالمعلمین عالی ).
In 1933 it was transformed into the Tehran Pedagogical Institute ( Pers. دانشسرای عالی ).
In 1935-1940, as part of Tehran University . In 1940 he was singled out as an independent Pedagogical Institute .
In 1962 it was transformed into the Organization for the Training of Teachers and Educational Research . In 1967, it was restored as a Pedagogical Institute .
In 1974, it was transformed into Tehran Pedagogical University ( pers. دانشگاه تربیت معلم تهران ).
In 2012, it was renamed the Khorezmi University in honor of Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khorezmi ( Pers. ابوجعفر محمد بن موسای خوارزمی ; circa 783 , Khiva , Khorezm - ca. 850 , khareem ; ореوارزمی ; ca. 783 , Khiva , Khorezm - ca. 850 , khareem ; ancient Khorezm [1] .
Faculty
As of 2016 , the faculty of the University. Khorezmi has more than 450 teachers, including 43 professors, 85 assistant professors, 295 assistant professors and 36 senior teachers. At 14 faculties of the university, bachelors, masters and doctors are trained [1] .
